Elijah Teter is a professional snowboarder from quite possibly one of the most accomplished snowboard families ever. Elijah grew up in vermont snowboarding quickly became his passion and he is now here at Camp Woodward sharing that passion with all of the other snowboarders that are on hand here. The Woodward PA Snowboard and Free-ski Program is a bit different then what you would find at Woodward at Copper but we are having just as much fun! Campers while here spend some time on the tramps learning awareness when in the air. Learning with the comfort of foam pits, makes it easy to push your limits, and feel safe when taking it to the snow a little later this year. While we do have artificial snowboard jib sections and park boards that heavily simulate snowboarding, i was able to snap some photos in the gym this morning as our snowboard campers and staff were messing around.

The Colony of Summer video has been produced for the past 15 years. For those of us that have been here for a number of years it is amazing to look back and see just how camp has changed and evolved over the years. For the campers that are coming this summer, the video shows what a camper can expect to see at camp while they are here. For others there is just a bunch of great snowboarding. Regardless of what group you fall in, you will love the new snowboard section of this years video. Enjoy!

Many people automatically jump to thoughts of the wheeled sports when thinking about Camp Woodward. Each and every summer there is another group at camp that keeps getting bigger and bigger. The snowboard and Free-ski campers keep coming back for the great times. With new additions like the rollerboards on the mega-bag and the Ball Park jib set up, the program is only going to get better! Check out this video of a jib session from Brandon Schmidt.
