We have created a program that develops your current knowledge and skills to become a better photographer in a week. Feel like a pro photographer surrounded by our incredible, world class facilities and content just waiting to be photographed. Our expert staff and equipment guides your creative dreams into becoming a reality.

Based on your individual needs and ability, your camp week may include learning basic to advanced composition, exposure, focus, lighting, and computer editing. Woodward also provides you with the opportunity to work with some of the most current gear in the industry - fisheye and telephoto lenses, light meters, and professional flash equipment. Our professional instructors and pro photographers will guide and assist you in shooting photos of pro athletes and models in a stuio setting or in camps action packed environment. Download your images and learn to edit like a pro on apple imac computers during the week. and you will combine your talent and skills to showcase your work in our friday night digital media camp arts festival, where you will also recieve a certificate of completion.

4Camp Woodward just might be the best backdrop in the world for your creative mind. With top of the line digital equipment, there is no limits on what you can create here at Woodward. Get immersed in our Apple Imac computer lab, shoot green screen in the Woodward studio, or take your camera to shoot some of the best athletes the world has to offer. With the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains and sunsets, you can create whatever your mind dreams up.

 

 

Arts Festival:

A red carpet ceremony with popcorn, refreshments, and certificates of completion. Woodward Films internships as well as Target and Tap Awards are presented to campers during the festival. Photo campers display their 10 best images from their week in our photo gallery. Video campers will premier their 3 minute videos on our big screen with all their friends and fans present. Graphic arts campers show their work in print and video form while the music recording campers work is showcased in multiple formats.

The DMC Arts Festival is a relaxing experience where you reminisce about the week you spent at camp with your new friends, display your hard work, and learn more about setting up an event to showcase your work. Now you can go home, produce content and set up your own premiere. Woodward Digital Media camps takes you from the bare basics to a full premier in 5 days. An experience you will take with you for a lifetime. Come join us this summer!

 

Visiting Guests:

These videographers, photographers, and graphic artists are here to help you improve your media skills. Recommended Equipment:

wk3_ran_jpavia_helpcmprs_TV_2010_73DSLR Camera and lens, batteries (we recommend 2), charger, appropriate camera to computer connector cables, camera bag, and tripod (recommended).  If you ride a bike, skateboard, or inline bring the equipment for your sport of choice and all pads. (helmet, elbow and knee pads)

Equipment we provide:

Apple Imac computers, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom software, and Photo Matix Pro.

 

 

Best of Both Worlds:

TargetPlazaDigital Media Campers get the best of both worlds here at Camp Woodward.  While you will spend a good amount of time shooting, editing, recording, etc, the action sports facilities and events will be open and available for you.  You will have plenty of time to spend on the sport of your choice when you are not working within your digital media program!

 

 

 


Camp Life:

paintball05While the amazing skate facilities and media labs will be available to you for most of the day, we know from experience that you wont be able to shoot and skate all day, everyday. Camp Woodward is much more then a bunch of skateparks and media labs. There is always different recreational activities going on around camp including paintball, go-kart racing, horseback riding, swimming, ropes course, recording studio, camp fires, arts and crafts, daily games, and much much more.
