LIFE AT WOODWARD CAMP
Life at Woodward Camp is custom designed for you! We strive to provide the absolute best facilities in the world, which attract campers and the top pros from around the globe each and every summer. Add to that the best staff, radical training ideas, and an intensive training program and you have an experience unmatched anywhere in the world, which serves as a catalyst to make you better at your sport!
LOCATED in the picturesque mountains of central Pennyslvania, Woodward Camp is approximately 25 miles from Penn State University and about 3 hours from New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
WHO CAN COME TO WOODWARD?
Any girl or boy who has reached seven years of age is eligible. No previous experience is required, only interest. Woodward also offers adults over the age of 18 the chance to become a Woodward camper during week #12.

COMFY CABINS: 
While at camp, you will live in air-conditioned cabins with an adjacent bath. Each cabin is outfitted with bunk beds and individual storage space for each camper. Each cabin will have a live-in counselor that is 18 years of age or older. Each bunkbed will have a mattress but you will need to bring your own sheets, pillows, and sleeping bag.
For our younger campers, ages 7-9 we have mini cabins where an extra adult will be placed in your cabin to help handle the needs of our younger campers.
A TYPICAL DAY:
A specific daily schedule varies depending what sport/program your child is signed up for.
7:30- 9:30 am - Breakfast is served
9:30- 12:00 - Morning Instructional Period
11:00 -1:00 - Lunch is served
1:00 - 3:30 - Afternoon Instructional Period
4:00 - 6:00 - Dinner is served
6:00- 10:00 - Evening Recreation - Open Training
10:00 - 11:00 - Prepare to Retire
11:00pm - Lights out.

Cafeteria:
The Cafeteria has multiple options during every meal time at camp. There is always a hot meal being served which will switch daily with our menu. During breakfast there is a fresh fruit bar which doubles as a salad bar during your lunch and dinner meal times. During everymeal the cafeteria is equipped with a cereal bar, peanut butter and jelly bar, pasta bar, soups of the day, and a taco bar with all the fixings. More then enough to please the picky eater.

Ball Park Grill -
The Ball Park grill serves up the finest hot dogs and cheeseburgers around. Grab your bun, get served by the friendly grill staff and move on down to the toppings bar. Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Jalopenos, Cheese, and plenty of sauce toppings like ketchup, mustard, mayo, hot sauce, chili sauce is all available to customize your food the way you would like.
Beijing Grill
The Beijing Grill offers freshly made fried rice during the lunch and dinner time periods. Do you like your fried rice with chicken or vegetables? Well, you have that option at the Beijing grill. Pile on your extras giving you yet another option for lunch of dinner here at Camp Woodward.
Fajita Grill
Located right next to the Beijing Grill, our wonderful staff will get you set up with chicken and cheese nachos, burritos, and quessadillas to fill up the hungriest of campers. Over the years this has been quite a hot spot for many of campers! Be sure to try one out, you wont be dissapointed.
HOW TO GET HERE:
Camp Woodward gets campers from all over the world every single year, so we have created a couple options that may help you out.
Driving: If you choose to drive your child to camp the directions can be found by CLICKING HERE.
State College Airport and Bus Shuttle - We have a shuttle that will pick up registered campers from the State College Airport (Airport code SCE) or the State College bus station. Please be sure to confirm enrollment with Camp Woodward before booking travel reservations.
Round Trip Shuttle: $50.00
Rockaway Bus- Given the large amount of campers that travel each week from the New York/ New Jersey Area we have set up a bus that leaves the Rockaway Town Mall in Rockaway New Jersey. The bus will pick up all registered children Sunday morning at 11:00am and return on the scheduled Saturday to drop them off at noon.
